Wooden Type
On a recent trip to London I bought myself some wooden type from a stall at one of the Apple market at Covent Garden, (the stall is normally there on mondays). I bought my initials for know but I will gradually try and get a full alphabet.
The letters at the stall range in price and the one's I bought were £5 each, though these were part of the larger selection of letters available. The market stall also had a selection of metal type as well as wooden.
The stall is called The Old Printing Shop.
I also have a set of Gill Sans metal type which I purchased a while back, so I have a little collection of movable type starting :)
