Here are a selection of Patterns that I have discovered, again whilst on Pinterest. I have always loved patterns, to me they act almost like a sort of puzzles, each pattern draws you in and you can spend ages just looking closely at each pattern trying to deconstruct it to pick out each individual element.
I have noticed that in my recent work I have resorted to creating patterns with any illustrations that I produce, for example my tree pattern. I also usually find myself trying to find patterns within objects or in the environment I an in, you know when you look at a plug socket and see an upside down face? Patterns are all around us whether you like it or not but I have a feeling I may be getting a bit of an unhealthy obsession with them.
