Toadstool Notebook Design

I wanted to do something a little different from the paper airplanes and I drew out a toadstool pattern for some notebooks. I know toadstools are a bit of an odd choice but I have always liked the quirky look of toadstools and I always associate them with fairytales. Just like the paper airplane notebooks I screen printed each of the covers first and then hand stitched the notebooks together.

In my last post I wrote about how I am going to create my own stationary for the etsy shop, so far I have created some stationary items including notebooks, envelopes and writing paper with the theme of paper airplanes, carrying on with this theme I have printed another book cover with the paper airplane design thats featured on the envelopes and writing paper.

Printed Notebooks

I've been on a bit of a mission to try and introduce some new and different items into my Etsy/Craft stores instead of just having exclusively prints. I came up with a few ideas including key rings, badges and notebooks, me being me decided to both ideas.

For the notebooks I decided to make them myself using some plain paper and coloured card and binding it together using a simple saddle stitch, I then screen printed a squirrel, rabbit, a deer and a strawberry onto the notebooks.
