Printing cards using the press

These were printed about 2 weeks during my last day in the print room, they weren't printed as part of project these are more of a side project. As quite a few people really liked the tree pattern I printed I had the idea to print A5 cards with individual trees from the pattern on them.

Here are a few experiments that I have done with screen printing the text onto the image, I'm surprised at how well the text printed (Baskerville). I'm not whether to have the text printed onto the actual image or have the text on simulated transparency, any thoughts?

Trees

Kind of looks like they've been drawn with crayons

Above are some prints of trees and leaves that I have been experimenting with over that past couple of days in the print-room  The prints above are to accompany 2 poems by W H Davies called The Wind and In The Wood.

The trees were drawn by hand using a biro pen through mono-printing and the leaves were created by using Alpen sprinkled across a piece of paper.

The prints are still a working progress and are not the final versions.
