Graduate Show 2013!

So last night was the opening night of the Graduate Show 2013 at the University of South Wales, Newport.

The show is currently on at the City Campus in Newport and it's on for 2 weeks.

(my book was a little too big for the shelf)

Above is my show panel with all my details on it along with images of 4 projects (Final Major Project, Penguin book cover, Faces, Identity)

Final MDF Panels

Here are the final boards! I went in a completely different direction with the panels compared to the style of my final book (pictures coming soon) and although I'm used to working in a very constrained and I suppose clean way, that went out of the window for these boards and I just went for it and didn't think (much) of where I was going to place thing.

Printed Owls

I have decided to move away from trees for a while and I moved printing owls for my major project, not sure whether or not I'll keep to the colours I've used or change them to more neutral colours.

These prints are for the poem The Owl by W.H Davies.
