Stencils

So in the previous post you saw some examples of face stencils that I had found while doing some research, in this post I have decided to have a go at doing my own version of a stencil using the photograph to the right of this post.

I started off by changing the image to grey scale in photoshop:

From there I then took the photo into Illustrator and used the live trace option and selected 3 options from the live trace menu:
